Tshakatumba “Tocc” Brown

Tshakatumba N. Brown, fondly known as Tocc, was born to Annie Mathews and Dennis Brown Wheeler in Pomona, CA on November 13, 1977. Raised in Portland, Oregon, Tocc’s life journey took him to various cities, enriching his experiences and nurturing his resilient spirit.

Known for his intelligence, resourcefulness, and unconditional love, Tocc faced life’s challenges with remarkable grace, even amid heartache and pain.

On September 13, 2024, Tocc left this world, having found faith in god and returned his soul to the lord. His infectious smile and laughter remain etched in our memories, and he will forever hold a place in our hearts. Tocc’s legacy of love and acceptance transcends his earthly existence, ensuring that he finds eternal peace in a love far greater.

His deepest desire was to be with his children-Michael, Shea, Shikina, and King-whom he cherished beyond words.

Tocc is survived by his children, grandchildren, his mother Annie Mathews, and his siblings Eric, Michael, and Erika Tomlinson. He also leaves behind countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many cherished friends.
