Anthony “Tony” Capparelli

November 26, 1978 – March 24th, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce that on Friday, March 24th, 2023, Tony Capparelli; loving husband, father, and son, died at the age of 44. He is now healed in heaven with our Savior after a valiant five-year fight with MELAS.

Tony was born on November 26th, 1978, in Aberdeen, Washington to Doug and Lydia Capparelli. He received a bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University and served 10 years in the Air Force as a Navigator on the AWACS aircraft, attaining the rank of Captain. On December 4th, 2004, he married Rebecca Capparelli; they had two children, Eliana, 14 and Isaac, 7.

Tony had a passion and love for Jesus. His faith was a testament that even through trials and suffering God is near and He is good. Tony loved his family unconditionally and enjoyed laughing and spending time together. He was always up for an adventure and loved spending time on his boat and enjoyed water skiing, snow skiing, and golf.  He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his humble spirit.

Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Lydia.  He is survived by his wife Rebecca, his two children, Eliana and Isaac, his father Doug, his step-mother Bonnie and step-brothers Brion and Jason. There will be a small memorial service for immediate family members only.
