Tim Dougherty Jr.

August 04, 1989 – January 18, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Timothy William Dougherty Jr, who left us unexpectedly at the age of 35 on January 18, 2025. Tim was a loving husband, father, uncle, cherished son and nephew, loyal brother, and friend, and he will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

Tim was a proud father to his three children, Payton, Kendall, and Wyatt, whose bright smiles and gleeful energy brought him endless joy. As a husband to his loving wife, Kayla, Tim was a constant source of support, kindness, warmth, and laughter. Together, they built a beautiful family filled with love and cherished memories.

Tim was the son of Tim Sr and Cindy, who gave him the strength, determination and love he shared with those around him. He was a beloved brother to his siblings: Liz, Sharah, MaryJane, Benjiman, Shelby, Alexis, and Brianna. His presence brought countless moments of joy, and they treasured every memory made together.

Tim was extremely hardworking and took immense pride in the work he did. He never let anything stand in his way and was always the first to help someone in need. Despite facing many challenges in life, he always came out fighting.

Tim had a vibrant spirit and a heart of gold. He could strike up a conversation with anyone and genuinely enjoyed doing so. He was known for his sense of humor, open heart, passion, and living life to its fullest. He was an example to all those around him of a dreamer who brought his dreams to life and had immense pride in his work. He was a warm and loyal friend, and the kind of man who would do anything for his family and those in his circle. Tim’s passion for music and attending concerts was infectious, and he found great joy in playing disc golf with friends. His love for these hobbies brought people together and created lasting bonds.

His memory will live on in the lives he touched, and the love he gave to his family and friends will never be forgotten. He remains alive in the hearts of his family, and his legacy will continue through his children.

This summer, Tim’s family and friends will gather in Iowa to celebrate his life and the incredible impact he had on all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to support his wife and children as they navigate this difficult time at https://gofund.me/51649054.
