Teresa Bollard

February 25, 1954 – June 25, 2022

Teresa Bollard passed away unexpectedly from cancer on June 25, surrounded by her family.  Teresa grew up the oldest of four, in Portland, Oregon.  She graduated in 1972 from Marshall High School and attended Southern Oregon University.  She moved to Bend, Oregon shortly after and helped launch KTVZ.  In 1987, she was recruited to launch one of the first television stations in Jakarta, Indonesia.  From there, she started her own company in Singapore, Tape Link, in the broadcast services industry.  In her 25 years in Singapore, she was known for gathering her friends, who became family, to celebrate every holiday in style. Teresa made lifelong friends in Singapore, both local and expats. She was lovingly referred to as T, Aunt Teresa, or Auntie T. In 2016, she retired and moved home to Oregon, a place she loved. There she transitioned her production skills to launch her most beloved network to date, “The Cousin Network,” where she filmed and produced videos with her many great nieces and nephews. She was passionate about teaching her great nieces and nephews the ins and outs of video production. She loved spending time at the beach, being with her family and attending the kids’ sporting events.

She is survived by her sister Kelly (Brian) Schmidt, brother Dan Bollard, nephew Andrew (Ashley) Schmidt, niece Kerra (Casey) Bartlett, nephew Justin (Kimberly) Schmidt, great nieces and nephews Connor and Avery Schmidt, Tabor and Hayden Bartlett, Tanner and Nathan Schmidt. And by her beloved aunts and uncles, Don and Roberta Bollard, David and Nancy Bollard and “cousins by the dozens”. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents Homer and Jean Bollard and brother Joe Bollard.

A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Peter Catholic Church (5905 SE 87 Ave. Portland 97266) on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 11:00 am.  Livestream link will be available on the parish website:  stpeterpdx.org
