Stanley Jay Waddell

 December 22, 1947 – April 3, 2022

Stanley came to Portland to be with his wife Joann and son Rico Waddell.  He was self-employed with many jobs including working at Victory Outreach Church to help build their Portland location.

Stan was hard working.  He loved his family and friends and enjoyed helping to rear his grandson Dayton Jay Waddell.  He will be remembered for his dedication to what he loved and who he loved. He leaves us to celebrate his home coming and to cherish his memories.

His father O.J. and his mother Mildred Waddell and his brother Kermon (Jimbo) Waddell preceded him in death.  Those left to cherish his memories include his wife Joann Waddell; his son Rico Waddell (wife Chimere); his daughters Tanisa Star and Tiffany Montgomery; his grandchildren of 8 and great grandchildren of 4;  his sister Barbara Waddell; his brother Eric Waddell (wife Edith Waddell and their children Jessica, Yusef and Michael); his brother Mark Waddell; his sister-in-law Desta; Hanna Jimmar and many other extended family members and friends.

Stanley’s Service will be held April 14th, 2022, 10AM at Victory Outreach Church, Portland, Oregon and will be will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.
