June 19, 1935 - November 10, 2024 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Shirley Ann Manning, 89 years old, went to be with Jesus on Nov. 10, 2024. She was born June 19, 1935 in Missoula, Montana. Her family moved to Portland when she was 7. She excelled in school and graduated from Jefferson High School and continued onto 2 years of college. She was married almost 34 years to Richard James Manning. She was a homemaker and also worked as a secretary at Menlo Park Elementary School then later for Kaiser Permanente until she retired at 65. She loved spending time with her 9 grandchildren, was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling all over the world. Most importantly, she loved the Lord and attended Mt. View Christian Church until Covid. She served with the women’s Bible studies, was on the mission board, helped in children’s ministries and served in the benevolence ministry and more. She lived a faithful life and blessed many along the way. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Manning. She is survived by her brother, Jack Thomas and her 3 children, Laurie Manning, Kay Coryell and son-in-law Ron Coryell, Tom Manning and daughter-in law-Toni Manning, and her 9 grandchildren, Phil Puryear, Faith Puryear, Ryan Coryell, Sarah Torres, John Coryell, Noelle Salmons, Holly Shick, Heidi Manning and Hannah Manning and 10 great-grandchildren.
