Sherry Kenney Martinez

December 6, 1955 – November 4, 2022

Sherry Kenney Martinez of Fairview, OR, 66, formerly of Newton Falls, OH passed unexpectedly Friday, November 4th, 2022, at home. Born December 6th, 1955, in Warren, OH Sherry was raised in Newton Falls by the late Ervin and Mary Etta Kenney.

Sherry was an amazing soul who found beauty in all that surround her. One of her favorite pastimes was finding pictures or artwork that inspired her to create her own beautiful works of art. She enjoyed painting and creating art that covered the walls of her family’s homes. To her, her greatest accomplishment was the family she created. Her most cherished moments were spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Sherry’s infectious smile has made lasting impressions on all who were blessed to have met her, and her sense of humor never failed to make us belly-laugh until we cried. Throughout her years she battled with mental illness, often suffering silently, but her family was her beacon of hope that gave her strength. Sherry is deeply loved and will be missed by many. She never forgot her family, and we will never forget her.

Sherry is survived by her children, Michelle, Larry, Heather, Crystal, and David. Grandchildren, Toyya, Trey, Aleena, Thaidan, Kaia, Aubree, and Bjorn. Great grandchildren, Zoey, Zayne, Zahara and Zavier. And siblings, Linda, Carol, Kim, David, Donald, and Pam.

A private family service has taken place Sunday November 20th, 2022. A public celebration of life is scheduled for December 6th, 2022, at 6pm at Clear Creak Events.
