IN LOVING MEMORY OF FATHER & SON

 Shawn P. Slade born Shawn Patrick son to Teresa wolfer and Ralph Slade.

 Shawn was born in Portland, Oregon and graduated from David Douglas High School in 1977. In his early years he was an All-Star athlete competing in State wrestling and football tournaments.

 He was a fun-loving man who was known for making his family laugh.

 He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Deretha Ballad & his 2 children Michael and Jennifer Slade, his Mother Teresa St. Clair & Four brothers Anthony & Lance Slade and sister-in-law Traci Slade, George & Dennis Huntsman. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews and many other loving family members.

God’s Garden

 God looked around his garden

 He found it in empty place he then looked down upon this Earth

 and saw your tired face

 He put his arms around you

and lifted you to rest

God’s garden must be beautiful

He always takes the best

 He knew that you were suffering

He knew that you were in pain

 He knew that you would never

get well on Earth again

He saw the road was getting rough

and the hills were hard to climb

 so he closed your weary eyelids

 and whispered” please be thine. “

It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn’t go alone for a part of us went with you that day god called you home.
