She was beautiful, but not like

Those girls in the magazines.

She was beautiful for the way

she thought.  She was beautiful

for that sparkle in her eyes when

she talked about something she

loved.  She was beautiful for

her ability to make other people

smile even when she was sad.

No, she wasn’t beautiful

For something as temporary as

her looks.  She was beautiful,

deep down to her soul.

Shannon Elaine Hall, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and mother passed away in the afternoon of November 29th.

At the time of her passing, Shannon lived at the base of Mt. Hood which is where she always wanted to be.  ~She claimed it as “her” mountain~

She died at the age of forty, an age many believed too young.

But in those forty years she accomplished many things and fought for many more.

Shannon was a pillar of strength and of acceptance.

Shannon took pride in dedicating her life to helping others and to be selfless.

Her death created a ripple, a ripple of change for the better.

In lieu of flowers or donations Shannon would want her friends, family and everyone else to pay it forward.

To think of someone else and lend them a hand in a time of need.
