Samantha Jane Dolbier

December 23, 1973 – October 18, 2024

Samantha Jane Dolbier was born December 23,1973 in San Rafael California; she passed away October 18,2024 in Portland Oregon of natural causes. Sam’s family lived in California for 5 years, returning to Oregon in 1978.

She grew up in rural Clackamas County until moving to Portland in 1980.   During her time in middle school Sam learned to play the violin. She graduated from Milwaukie High School in 1992.

Sam started at Intel in 1995, working there until 2015. In 2016 she entered Concordia College graduating as a C.M.A. In September of 2016 she started working at O.H.S.U., in the Sleep Disorder Clinic; where she worked until her passing.

Sam knitted neck wraps and hats each year that she donated to charity. Sam enjoyed camping at the beach and the high desert. In the fall she and her mother would go mushroom hunting in the Mt. Hood National Forest.

Sam is survived by her mother Joanne, a brother Dub, two sisters, her partner DJ, and two dogs.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday November 17 from 1pm – 3pm.
