Rodney Bautista

April 2, 1956 – September 02, 2022

Our beloved Rodney passed away at home on September 02, 2022, in Portland, Oregon.  He was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon to Jose and Betty Bautista on April 02, 1956.

Rodney graduated from Madison High School and music became a passion in his life.  As a guitarist, Rod was a member of many bands including The Malchicks, The Pipsqueaks and The Boy Wonders.  He was also a gifted artist, writing songs and poetry, woodworking, and drawing.

Rodney was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Ruth Bautista.  He is survived by his daughter Isabella Mary Talbot-Bautista; sister Renée Eastman; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and the love of his life who he spent the last fifteen years with, Ruby Whitfield.

The loss of Rod has been huge.  He will be sorely missed by his family and many, many friends.

A Celebration of Rodney’s Life will be held on Saturday October 22, 2022, at 1:00PM at Omega Funeral and Cremation (223 SE 122nd Ave. Portland, OR).  Friends and family are invited to continue fellowship at the American Legion from 2:30pm – 6:30pm (8329 SE 89th Ave. Portland, OR).
