March 20, 1969 - May 25, 2016 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Robert was born in Santa Ana, CA on March 20, 1969. Later he moved to Troutdale, OR where he attended Columbia High School. He graduated from Western Culinary Institute in Portland where he obtained a degree as a certified working chef, working at some notable restaurants. He was also a great salesman for several different car lots. He had many talents, but his greatest was music. He started his music career as a drummer for a band called Silent Knight when he was 10 years old. He was not only an excellent drummer, but also sang. He was in a notable band in Portland as a teenager called Deliverance. He played in numerous other bands throughout his career. He was married twice. Once to Cheryl Cassidy and they had a daughter, Brittany. The second time was to Christina Wheeler, and they had a son, Tyler. In 2002 he moved to Boise, ID with Sandra Teilmann where he lived for 12 years. Then he moved back to Portland where he lived until his passing. Robert is survived by his father, Robert Plaisted, Sr. of Gresham, OR, his son, Tyler Plaisted of Gresham, OR, a step-daughter, Monica Whitney of Boise, ID, a brother, George Plaisted (Layni) of Florida, a sister, Joanna Morrow of Boise, ID, a sister Sheryl Brackley of Newport Beach, CA, nephews Rhyan and Nathan, nieces Samantha, Felicia, Cassandra, Desirae, Destaney, Heather, Courtney, Hannah, and Christi, and a cousin, Hare Butler of Anaheim, CA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Pitzer, a brother, Ronnie Lampasi, and his daughter, Brittany Plaisted-Cassidy. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 13th, 2016 at 5:30pm. Location: Blue Lake Park, 20500 NE Marine Dr., Fairview, Oregon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He was a big supporter of that foundation because his daughter, Brittany, passed away from Cystic Fibrosis at age eighteen.
