Growing up I couldn't have asked for a better dad. He always provided for the family, even when we didn't know how we would pay for the next month's rent. Being a believer in Christ, my dad always trusted in the Lord to take of us, which He did. I could remember not having much, but not lacking for anything, since we were always laughing and playing as kids do. We had the love of our parents and that is all any kid could every ask for.

I am very saddened to hear the news, but so happy to have known him and his family growing up. I liked to talk to him and hear what he has to say. He is a very kind and loving man. His children are all my age and same for them, all very great kids! St. Johns has lost a great man and vet!! Thanks for being a World War II Vet! You made a big impact on this great nation!
