I had a small car business and met Bob and Marlene, there. I retired three years ago and lost touch with them. Only today, I called Marlene to say hello and learned of his passing. What a wonderful person, I am sorry for my tardiness, and wish the family all the very best. He is missed.

Larry and I just heard of Bob's passing and we'd like to take this opportunity to send our condolences to Marlene and the family. We met Bob and Marlene many years ago at the annual car show at Jim Dandy's that they helped to organize. Bob always talked to Larry about his '60 Pontiac Catalina. We so enjoyed talking with him about cars. He was so knowledgeable about Chevy's - particularly his '57 Nomad. We also learned he died on Larry's 80th birthday which makes his passing even sadder for us. The family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

WOW!!! I've known Bob since being a classmate at Benson Tech. We've also been together in the Road Knights Car Club & Multnomah Hot Rod Council, during which time I met Marlene. My wife, Mary, also knew both Bob & Marlene via our mutual automotive interests for many years. It's sad that Bob's time has come to pass on, but he'll be remembered for many wonderful times together. May you rest in peace, Bob, & may you, Marlene, enjoy your many happy times together.

Bob was a fixture of our hot rodding community for many many years, and will sorely missed. Much of what the Portland Roadster Show is today, can be attributed to the length of service, and dedication by both Bob and Marlene. RIP Bob. DRJ

Bob and Marlene became friends when we 1st met them at the "birth" of the Northwest Nomad club. Bob was always quiet and level headed about everything. Never heard him raise his voice, had a memory like an elephant and was always kind. May he rest in peace. He will be missed by many of his car friends.
