Robert (Bob) Allen Kennedy, 81, of Warren, Oregon passed away on Friday, July 7 due to Lewy Bodies Dementia.

Bob was born to James and Laura (Kappler) Kennedy on March 14, 1936.  He went to school and graduated in Molalla, Oregon.  After graduation he moved to St. Helens where he met and married Patricia Ann Rude on June 2, 1958.

Bob worked at Boise Cascade Paper Mill for 42 years.  He loved the work he did as a Journeyman Pipe Fitter and got along really well with all of his co-workers.

Bob was a quiet, thoughtful person who always tried to help others whenever he could.  A passion of his was to teach all of his kids, their spouses, his grandkids, and many friends how to water ski.  He also loved to travel, go camping, fishing, running, playing cards, reading, and spending time with his family.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years Pat, their 3 children, Shauna and Randy Hood (Spokane), Curt Kennedy (St. Helens) and Lynn and Dennis Heil (St. Helens), 7 grandchildren and their spouses (Missy and Terry Buckna, Angie and Ben Janosik, Aaron and Jesse Hood, Nathan and Katie Hood, Adam and Nicole Heil, Katie and Cody Raisanen, and Cheyanne Kennedy), 18 great grandchildren, half-sister Vivian Spinden and husband Steve (St. Helens). Along with step sisters Vida Duffy and Naomi Nicholson and step brother Bill Morgan Jr.

Bob is preceded in death by both of his parents, step mom Violet Kennedy, he and Pats 3rd child Baby Darren, Sister Elva, and half-brothers Frank and Ralph Morgan and great grandson Dillon Buckna.

Bob will be greatly missed and held dearly in our hearts.  He will always be remembered as the kind of loving father and grandfather that made such an impact on everyone around him.
