Reta Sandra (McClanahan) Rader of Gresham, OR, passed away on May 31, 2015. She was born to Ruby and Oral McClanahan on February 22, 1934. She grew up in the mid-West and later moved to the West Coast with her family. She enjoyed politics, family, gardening, biscuits and gravy, her visits to the gorge and volunteered at Toy & Joy for several years. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ray ‘Don’ Rader and stepdaughter, Melanie Rader and sister, Jay Niday. She is survived by her 4-children, Paul Monaco, Gala Cheek, Catherine Shaw, Mark Monaco and beloved stepchildren, Ross Rader and Susanna Baker as well as 13-grandchildren and 2-great grandchildren. She is survived by two sisters, Wanda and Dawn.

Private services will be held by the family. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Flora Cutuna’s care-center and the Kaiser Palliative/Hospice Nurses for their support in her final days.
