Patricia G. Haines

Patricia was born at McMinnville hospital in McMinnville, Oregon where her parents lived at the time. Soon after they moved to Milwaukie where she grew up. Patricia was the eldest of 2 other siblings: her sister Sherie and brother Charlie. She attended Milwaukie grade school, then high school and later Portland State. She majored in fashion design and after school, worked as an artist for Meier & Frank; she did drawings of fashion design models. She soon after married my dad and quit her job, deciding she wanted to be a mom and have a family rather than career. Her first son, Scot was born in 1966 followed by her second son, Sean, in 1969. Unfortunately, they filed for divorced and afterwards Patricia went into real estate discovering she had quite a knack for it. She was in the business for over 40 years and finally hung up her license in 2019.

Patricia purchased a few investment properties over the years and still has them to this day.

Patricia’s hobbies included hand drawing and painting; she was a very good artist and could have kept at it as a career if she had chosen. She also loved to garden. She took after her parents, who were both avid gardeners themselves. She loves her grandchildren and her little dog Bootsy! She was a Christian and active member of her church. She would always go above and beyond and always looked after everyone. In her days leading up to finding out she had cancer, she worked at the church watching the children even when she was not feeling up to it. Patricia was an amazing person and had a heart of gold! Her family will miss her so much; we are still trying to process her passing and her being gone.

A Celebration of Life will be on September 30th 2:00pm at City Hope Church in Milwaukie, 5197 SE King Road, Milwaukie Oregon 97222.
