Patricia C. Messick

Patricia C. Messick passed peacefully on August 5, 2021 at age 90 1/2  years from stomach cancer. She resided in Portland, Oregon and the surrounding Metro area for 66 years.

Born Patricia Crawford, in Colfax, Washington to Milton & Doris where she graduated from high school, then on to the University of Washington to obtain her degree in business.

Preceded in death by her 2nd husband of 45 years Warren Messick Jr..  Survived by her brother Roger of Arizona, her only child, daughter Denice of Portland, Oregon, 2 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Patricia retired from the Oregon Symphony after 35 years of service as the comptroller of currency.

After retirement she volunteered her services on the board of the Oregon Symphony Women’s Association and other preforming arts organizations.

She was a life member of the Eastern Star. She loved the arts and her cats.

There will be no service.

In lieu of flowers … contributions may be made to the Oregon Symphony or any of the Arts or the Oregon Humane Society.
