Pamela I. Freeman

June 6, 1949 – January 8, 2026

Pamela I. Freeman, age 75, of Portland, Oregon, passed away early on the morning of January 8th, 2026.

Pam was born on June 6th, 1949 in Portland, Oregon to Arthur Haataja and Irene Hennings.

She attended Jefferson High School. Later worked (and retired) as a Trans-scriptionist for Willamette Falls Hospital in Oregon City, Oregon.

Pam had a passion for arts & crafts, games, outdoors, travel, family, and her favorite band, The Beatles.  Pam was full of life.  She wanted to do and be involved in as many activities as possible.  She was also a survivor of ovarian cancer. She was an incredible fighter of this horrible disease.

Pam was preceded in death by her husband Bill, Her father-Authur, her mother-Irene, and her brother-Duane.

She is survived by her daughters-Tara and Traci, her brother-Ron, and her sister-Paula.  Plus, she had 2 granddaughters, Cassandra and Jordan, and 2 great grand-daughters.

Pam requested, in the event of her death, that no funeral be performed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to American Cancer Society.
