Orianna A. Henry

March 6, 1975 – January 31, 2023

Orianna was born in Portland, Maine, on March 6, 1975, to James Edgar Henry and the late Pamela A. Gilliam. She passed away at Adventist Medical Center in Portland, Oregon, on January 31, 2023, from cardiac arrest and Covid.

Orianna grew up in a fishing family on Orr’s Island and in Portland, Maine, and was a graduate of Portland High School. She moved to Portland, Oregon, in 2007, where she worked in social services and retail. She built connections among diverse people and was known to her many friends for her kindness and generosity. She had a soft heart for animals and loved her three pet cats.

She is survived by her son, Jordan Louis Rosario, and his daughter Imaya; her father Jim and stepmother Mary Henry and their children Marcus, Izahia and Hannah Henry; as well as Eleanor Baldwin and her parents Gray and Jo.

A gathering to honor Orianna’s life will be held at a later date.
