ichelle Renee Baird was born on July 29, 1973 in Portland, Oregon to Roger and Danell Sweisberger. She graduated from Mt. Hood Christian School where she enjoyed being on the cheerleading squad. She attended HIT College in Arizona and then returned to Oregon.

She loved camping, dune buggying, going to the beach and attending rodeo’s. Michelle always had a heart for people who were discouraged or down, she tried to help with an encouaging word and a willing ear to listen and at times would even give her last dollar to help. Even with her many health issues she tried to keep her smile ready to share with anyone who needed it. That was an attitude she got from her dad. Her rheumotoid arthritis kept her from doing all she might have wanted to do, but never allowed it to keep her down and out. She had a beauty and love that came from within her heart and soul.

On November 1, 2014 Our Lord took her home to heaven, where she is now free from all the pain of arthritis and her asthma. In the months preceding her death she finally had found peace, and even contentment, in her circumstances with life. She had the ability to share this peace and contentment with her daughter Charmayne and son Dakota who lived with her and with her mother Danell on her last visit.

Michelle leaves behind two daughters, Morgan who lives in Pennsylvania and Charmayne who lives in Portland. Her son, Dakota who lives in Portland and her mother Danell from Pilot Rock, Oregon. Her maternal grandmother, Ilamae Herrick and her mother’s sister, Aunt Terrie and Uncle Tom West. Her mother’s brother Uncle Mike and Aunt Terrie Link and her father’s sister Aunt Sharon Sacrisan.

She will be buried in the family plot in Pilot Rock Cemetery where her paternal grandparents and her father, Roger Sweisberger are buried.
