Melvin was born November 10, 1947 in Eugene, Oregon. He lived in Cottage Grove, Oregon until age 11, when he moved to the Fairview Training Center. In recent years he made his home in Portland, Oregon. Melvin worked as a Barista for Seattle’s Best Coffee, working in the Portland State University area, where he made many friends.

He enjoyed fishing, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Melvin is survived by his Mother; Sharon Bush, Brother; Dale Bush, Sisters; Susan Parks, Nancy Cameron, Dana Pech and Shari Wanderscheid. He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews. His father; Bruce Bush preceeded him in death.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, July 17 at the
