Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

I met max hunter when i was homeless in Portland with my husband. We had a few adventures along side max and he was definitely a stand up fella. He showed me my first speak easy and was very in tune with the music scene in Portland. He was so friendly and such a deep thinker, it was wonderful getting into conversations with him. My best most potent memory is him inviting us to his home & making us a quiche. When you are starving and homeless you remember fondly all the warm meals prepared for you. He didn’t have much but was so willing to give to those in need. I decided to search max hunter on the internet since I saw the name pop up in my next door app . I was certain it was not the max I knew so I searched and came across this.,you will be remembered Max with much love!

Something drew me to read this obituary - Lei Ann Hunter was my student teacher at Baxter School and I remember Max’s birth. I am so sorry for your tremendous loss - my condolences to the family.
