Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

I had the wonderful pleasure of getting to know Maryanne over the last year, while I visited her with my service dog. She was always so gracious and kind, and we had many a chuckle as well a few heartfelt talks. She was always talking about her family and it was clear how much she loved them all and how devoted she was. She liked to hear stories about my teenager and shared some sage advice about mothering. I eventually started paying extra visits to Maryanne without my dog, just so that I could spend more time with her. We enjoyed watching HGTV and reading novels aloud together. She was lovely and interesting to talk to, and I will miss her very much. I am so grateful I got to know her, as well as Adria, Cheryl, and Debbie.

To my wonderful mother, thank you for always loving and guiding me. I am so honoured to have been your daughter. As an adult you became my best friend and confidante, talking every day on the phone and enjoying our visits when I was in Portland. I am grieving for the amazing relationship I had with you. Even though you are no longer here with me, you are always in my heart. You are dearly loved, missed and remembered every day. I love and miss you Mum and wish that you were here. No more tomorrows we can share but yesterdays are always there.

To my cherished grandmother, Thank you for the love, laughter, and countless memories that I will treasure forever. I feel so fortunate to have been your granddaughter and to have shared such a special bond with you. From spending time in your beautiful home and garden—where your love for flowers and fresh tomatoes was as vibrant as the blooms you nurtured—to enjoying your sharp wit and sarcastic humor, you filled my life with joy and warmth. I will always remember our times together, especially as three generations: you, my mom, and me. Sharing meals filled with our favorite foods, especially enjoying prawns, crab, and fresh salad, hearing your incredible stories, and being wrapped in your kindness are moments I hold close to my heart. Your impeccable style and graceful presence were so inspiring, and your love for beauty and care was unmatched. Every time I see peach roses, I will think of you and the grace and love you brought to my life. Though you are no longer here, your memory blooms in my heart every day. I love and miss you, Grandma.
