MaryAnn Phelps

June 23, 1957 – October 14, 2024

MaryAnn Phelps was born MaryAnn Fall to Roy Fall Jr. and Catherine (McNeill) Fall in June of 1957 in Portland, Oregon. She lived her young life in Gresham, Oregon and graduated from Centennial High School.

She married Richard E. Phelps in July of 1976.

MaryAnn and Richard were blessed with a son, Justin Phelps.

She worked for over 25 years at Tuality Hospital in Hillsboro, Oregon as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She truly enjoyed helping her patients and found great joy in her work.

MaryAnn had a love of hummingbirds and spent her free time in her garden. You could often find her at garage sales and thrift shops. The beach was a favorite spot for MaryAnn. When it was time for music, she would often choose the styling of Sir Elton John and Rod Stewart.  Her and Richard would often take time to travel to McCall, Idaho.

Family was deeply important to MaryAnn and this was evident to those who knew and loved her. She was gentle, but strong when she needed to be. Her loyalty to those she loved was a quality that shined from her.

MaryAnn is preceded in death by her parents Roy Fall Jr. and Catherine Fall, and sister Cecelia Fall Beckle.

MaryAnn is survived by her husband, Richard Phelps, son, Justin Phelps,, grandchildren, Caira Anne, Kaden Roscoe, her brother John “Jack” Fall, and sister Kathleen “Kathy” Fall Scheelar.
