Mary was born Mary Lynn Schellhorn on December 13, 1957, in Eugene, Oregon, to Otto Schellhorn and Dorothy Ott. She was the 5th of six children, her childhood and school years were spent in Eugene, where she graduated from Winston Churchill High School.

Mary was ALWAYS ready for her next adventure, whatever Life threw her way, she was ready to meet it «head on» and her next adventure after high school was marriage and children. She married Warren Williams and Nathan and Chris were soon born. The marriage didn’t survive and Mary met the challenge by getting to work and going back to school.

She received her nursing degree in 1986. As a single mom she jumped into her new career with enthusiasm. Excelling in Critical Care and open heart recovery , utilizing her skills in life threatening and urgent situations, she was good at it and she loved it.

She met and married her new love and lifelong partner, Mark Hardie they were married in October of 1993, and her baby son Shannon was born. Mark and Mary and all the boys settled in the City of Maywood, the little city that became home to the family.

Mary loved being the «First Lady» of Maywood Park, she loved her little city, she loved the residents and all of the city celebrations, she was always trying to think-up and create new and exciting events for the city. The City of Maywood and all the people she touched, will not be the same without her.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Nov 21st @ 1:00PM at St Ritas Catholic Church.
