Mary Katherine “Kate” Hemme

July 27, 1990 – April 08, 2023

Mary Katherine Hemme aka Kate, Kat, was born on July 27, 1990.

Kate is beautiful, talented, artistic, fearless, humorous, strong-willed and a little quirky! In her early years she was happy-go-lucky and everyone loved her zest for life. She loved music, art, drama, gardening, and a host of other hobbies like yoga and essential oil concoctions she made herself.  She performed in plays throughout school as well in little theater at the Wetumpka Depot.   She was a member of the Alabama All-State choir and sang her heart out.  Her greatest joy in life and for all eternity is her daughter, Francis Naomi.  Kate will live on in all our hearts.

Mary Katherine Hemme – Kate left this earth with an unfinished life. I know she is still alive on the other side. She was too alive to simply die. She is going to be with us every day and we will do everything in her memory. Our work, our play, our hopes and our dreams will have the stamp of Kate. We will honor her memory in so many ways that are yet to be known. Kate wanted so many things including a tiny house. One day her daughter, Naomi will have a place to visit to see her mom’s dream. Kate just sidetracked on other distractions. Kate knows the truth now. And of all things she knows exactly how much she is loved by you and me and most especially God her creator. She has let go of all falsehoods and has come to a place of truth, honesty, healthiness, true peace and love. She is being held now knowing the true love of God.
