I didn't get my cooking skills from Mom, thank goodness., but I did get my love for baking and cake decorating. We have many memories of chasing silver pearls all over the floor while helping her decorate a wedding cake. My favorite childhood memories are all the clothes she made for us. I loved the jumpers, and all the 4 matching dresses she made every holiday, one Christmas she made those blush satin dressed with velvet ribbon, you know the ones, you see them every yr on my FB memory. I remember being so cold and standing in front of the heater and melting the back of my dresss Oops. She even made hundreds of Barbie outfits even real mink stoles from Grandma Ellie's old coat collar What I remember most is mom's love for God, any church, the Bible and her Jewish studies. She spent her klife serving God in one way or another. With her last years being immobile when I heard she passed my vision was of Mom dancing towards the Pearly gates to God and Charlie, maybe even singing I just found out she was a singer in a rock band when we were little and when the gates open she would see her parents, best friend Ruth and her brother's with they're wives. Maybe my Dad will stop by. I'm so grateful she shared her life with Charlie, who knew what a Cub's fan she was, or how hip..coming home from the Bahama's with braids w beas in her hair. One of the most important World travle they made was to Jersaliam, seeing thee place she spent her life reading about. Thank you Catherine for all that you did for Mom, I'm forever grateful. Rest in Peace Mom, though I think the parties still going on. I Love you Mom. Bobbi Lynn

Aunt MaryJayne was our father’s baby sister, she was loved by all . When our mom became sick with cancer we asked Aunt MaryJayne to move back up here to help dad with her care she was such a big help to dad when mom passed because he was not alone he had his sister. I’ll never forget she decided to make Christmas socks for all the kids and grandkids that had not gotten the print ones from our grandma Carter I think it took her about a year to make all those socks she knitted everyone with love . She was an amazing women and the last aunt we had she will truly bemused by all . We love you Aunt MaryJayne
