May 5, 1954 - October 13, 2017 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Mary Ann Erickson, a longtime resident of Portland, Oregon passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2017 at the age of 63. Mary Ann is survived by her children, Britton, Oliver “Ollie” and Alice Erickson; her grandson John Erickson; and her sister Susan Emerson. She is predeceased by her husband John Erickson; and her parents Floyd and Frances Clark. Mary Ann was raised in Portland, Oregon and graduated from David Douglas High School. She was a Medical Coder for Blue Cross Blue Shield and later, after relocating to Concord, California, worked as an Account Clerk for Coca-Cola. In 1991 Mary Ann returned to the Pacific Northwest and shortly after met her late husband John. Mary Ann and John were married in October of 1993. Mary Ann was a strong woman with a generous heart. She was an avid dog lover; there were always at least two dogs in her life. She enjoyed old reruns of “I Love Lucy” and “Bonanza”, Elvis Presley and Betty Boop. She liked to bowl, a pastime shared with her sister and their friends Leilani and Wayne Harry. Mary Ann was dedicated to her children, she loved them deeply. She was happy that Britton had found Karlee Klein as his mate; and was proud that Alice met and fell in love with Joe Hopkins. She built lasting friendships and will be missed by her two closest friends; Pam Deerwester and Jill Brigham. Flowers and condolences may be sent directly to OMEGA in care of Kathy Phelps.
