Mariya was born in Russia on Jan. 25, 1926. She passed away on Feb. 1, 2013 in Portland, at the age of 87. She was a member of Slavic Church Emanuel. She has left behind six sons; four daughters, (Tatyana, Pavel, Nina, Aleksandr, Nadezhda, Natalya, Yevgeniy, Vasiliy, Ilja and Aleksey); and 23 grandchildren. Her final wishes were that everyone was reconciled with God. «We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God»

(2 Corinthians 5:20).
