Margaret Stroh

January 26, 1927 – October 27, 2021

Margaret Stroh was born January 26, 1927 and was one of 14 children all raised on the family farm in North Dakota.

She was predeceased by her husband Richard Stroh in 2003. They had six children (Sandra, Debra, Cynthia, Ronald, Vernon, Allen) who are all still living. She had seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Marge was devoted to her faith which was a great comfort to her throughout her life, as well as in her final days and weeks. She always had her rosary nearby and prayed daily.

Along with a dedication to her faith, family was of utmost importance to her. The many holidays, birthdays, anniversaries and such, allowed for the family to gather, and as well, enjoy her wonderful cooking. Fortunately, a few of us have mastered the art of some of our favorite’s dishes. We can all rest assured that we now have one more angel that is watching over and praying for us.

One of her favorite things to do in retirement was to bake and share the goodies with others. This made her very happy to bring pleasure to others. Her neighbors at the assisted living facility looked forward to Sundays and hoped they would be a lucky recipient.

In her final months and even days, she maintained an ability to find humor in the simplest of things which resulted in many episodes of laughing to tears with Mom. These are such joyful memories which will be greatly missed.

She was with her family and surrounded by love during her final days and weeks, and we were all blessed to have been able to spend this precious time with her.

There will be no service other than a small gathering of immediate family.
