Margaret Patricia Blais

Margaret Patricia (Little) Blais passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 95, in the early morning hours of Dec. 25th 2022. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Fred Blais.

She had lived in Florida before moving to Portland. She first lived at Hazelwood Community Apts, before moving to assisted living at Irvington Village. She worshiped at St, Peter Catholic Church.

She will be cremated and her ashes sent back to Vermont where she will be buried at St. Peters Cemetery in Vergennes, Vermont. Margaret enjoyed making new friends and visiting with friends, playing cards, boards games, Mexican train, knitting, and reading books, She was very lucid till her passing. She will be missed not only by family, but by the many friends that she made along her journey here on earth.

There will be a mass for her at St.Peter Catholic Church on Wednesday Jan. 18th at 11:30 am.
