LOUIS LORENZO RIVAS

August 18,1968  –  April 01,2025

Louis passed away suddenly in his home due to natural causes. Louis was born in Portland Oregon but traveled many states in his life.  He spent many years in Wyoming, Colorado and Utah as a Derrick hand on the oil rigs. That was his most satisfying job but it was a tough job and took a toll on his body.  He recently moved back to Portland to be close to family which gave him the opportunity to reconnect with loved ones.  We have greatly enjoyed this last year with him.

He always had a rough tough exterior but inside he was a softy.  He particularly enjoyed watching my two kittens that could convince him for treats always.

He was a loving, caring and thoughtful man and will be missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his father Louie L Rivas and his mother Janis L Rivas.
