Haven't seen Lois for years, but she and my sister, Cathy, went to grade school with her and her mom and ours were pals back in the day. I was considerably older, but I remember what a darling she was! So happy and friendly and such a good sport. I enjoyed watching the girls play house and hunt for treasure. Such great times back then. So sorry to hear this news. Will remember her in my prayers, for sure!XO ?

I am very sorry to hear of Lois's passing. I did not know her well, but I remember her infectious laugh and her kindness and tolerance for others. I'm not surprised that she pursued a life of service to others, because that seemed to be her calling even in high school. God bless her, and my condolences to her family. Joyce LaSorella (nee Lund)

I knew Lois and Beckie when I worked as the Child Development Specialist at Clark School many decades ago. Lois was one of the very special Moms I worked and celebrated with at Clark. Lois always had a smile on her face and a kind word to say. One of my favorite memories took place when Beckie took part in the Junior Rose Festival parade. Lois was so thrilled I thought she was going to jump out of her skin. That was a gold letter day for both Beckie and Lois. My heart goes out to David, Beckie and their family. We all lost a special lady. Carolyn Tomei

Dear Dave and family, my sincere condolences at Lois's passing. I had the honor of being her doctor at Kaiser until my retirement last summer. She was a wonderful person and the only patient I ever knew who requested a hug at the end of each visit! And it was a big hug, too. May she rest in peace. Richard Jenkins
