September 13, 2016 - October 1, 2024 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends October first 2024, Lincoln passed away at 3:16am unexpectedly from complications with his epilepsy at Randall Children’s hospital ER in Portland, Oregon. He was 8 years old.\Lincoln was born at OHSU on September 13, 2016 and was the first child of Rosanne Amrani. He was diagnosed before birth with an extreme brain anomaly and given a very bleak prognosis and would continue to receive care at OHSU/Doernbecher children’s hospital the entirety of his life. Regardless of that he lived. He was such a happy sweet boy and far surpassed the three years he was expected. Although his life had plenty of setbacks and time spent in the hospital, Lincoln LOVED life. He loved just being near the people he loved. He loved his cat. He loved to be outdoors and looking towards the sun. He especially love love loved to swim. Lincoln and his little black wheelchair and big, beautiful curls went to mountains, to beaches, to Vegas and Florida. So many adventures. He loved aquariums and particularly manatees, including his stuffed one, Lou. He was his mother’s entire world. Even in the toughest of situations he always had a smile and was always so brave. He is survived by his mother Rosanne Amrani, his father Benjamin Lingren, and two little brothers Milo and Banks who adored him. As well as his great grandmothers Carol Ronek and Gale Sones, great grandfather Micheal Sones and Grandfather Patrick Smida. Not to mention so so many family and friends who loved him and cheered him on. A viewing will be held on October 18th at Omega funeral home with a celebration of Lincoln to follow at another date. Lincoln’s family would like to send a special thank you to the doctors and specialists at Doernbecher children’s hospital, namely Sara Taub and Hailey Baines. A million thank you’s to so many nurses who cared for my boy in ways and times I couldn’t. Especially nurse Kaity.
