Letha «Francie» Frances Stark, 82, of Portland, Oregon passed away on June 7, 2015 peacefully in her sleep.»

Frances was born in Chinook, Montana on December 2, 1932. She was baptized at Coram Presbyterian Church at age 6.
She attended Columbia Falls High School, where she was a baton twirler and an admired schoolmate. She graduated in 1952. Frances moved to Seattle, Washington where she worked at the New World Insurance Company.

Frances married Charles Parnell in 1962 and raised a family in Kirkland, Washington. She worked at Rose Hill Junior High School Cafeteria and after that at Northwest Bible College.

Frances married Wilbur Stark in 1989 and moved to Portland, Oregon.

She enjoyed crocheting, singing, scrapbooking, reading and nature and traveling.

Frances is survived by her son Breck Parnell, stepson Bob Stark, two sisters, Norma Williams and Sandra Loveall, her brother Frank Stratton and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as the rest of her extended family and friends.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents Helen M. Stratton and Boyd C. Stratton, sister Ginny Schock, first husband Charles A. Parnell, daughter Tamara K. Stratton, son Mark Shannon Parnell and her second husband Wilbur Stark.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Omega Funeral & Cremation Service Portland, Oregon
