Leong Toy-Wong was born Sept. 23, 1926 in Canton, China, immigrating to the U.S. in 1949. Leong married Po Young Lum in 1947, she preceeded him death on Dec. 15 of this year. He served in the Army during the Korean War, was a Chef at the Kon Tiki and the Chinese Garden Restaurants and owned the Garden Village Restaurant in Gresham. He is survived by his Sons, Sam & Al, Daughter, Sylvia Reuland and grandchildren Alexander & William. All are welcome to attend the outdoor Military Honors on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011 at 11a.m. at Willamette National Cemetery.
