LeDonna Hildred Schrumm (Davidson)

August 09, 1933 – December 25, 2024

LeDonna Hildred Schrumm (Davidson) age 91, daughter of the late Lynn and Hilma Davison passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 25th 2024 at her home in Portland, Oregon. LeDonna was born on August 9, 1933 in Zumbrota, Minnesota and grew up in the city of Wanamingo where she attended high school and played on the softball team. She attended nursing school and received a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. LeDonna went on to work as a nurse for over thirty years at Legacy Emanuel Hospital in the neonatal intensive care unit before retiring.

LeDonna moved to Portland, Oregon in the 1950s and met Jack C. Schrumm. The two were wed on October 13, 1956 and were happily married for 57 years before Jack passed away in 2013.
LeDonna was an avid bowler and was a member of the Delta Beauty Supply bowling team for many years. Her favorite pastimes included watching the Mariners baseball and Blazers basketball games, camping with her family, going to the beach, spending time at her vacation home at Lake Merwin, traveling across the country to attend cooking classes, spending holidays with her children, grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. LeDonna was a Lutheran and was a very active member of Bethany Lutheran Church for over 60 years.

LeDonna was preceded in death by her parents Lynn and Hilma Davidson, sister Ardelle Revland, brother Bud Davidson, and husband Jack Schrumm.

LeDonna is survived by sister Gwen Stanich, sons Jeffery, James and Joseph Schrumm and her daughter Janet (Mark) Wiesner; five grandchildren and many great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday Jan 25th, 2025, at 1:00pm at Omega Funeral home address: 223 SE 122nd Ave Portland Oregon 97233.
