March 2, 1956 - January 13, 2026 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Laurie Dianne Geiger was born on March 2nd, 1956, in Portland, Oregon to Franklin Geiger Sr. and Wilda “Bunnie” Williams. She passed away unexpectedly but surrounded by loved ones on January 13th, 2026, at 69. She lived in the Portland area as a child and then moved to Hawaii. She attended Sacred Hearts Academy and Hawaiian Mission Academy in Honolulu. She later attended San Diego Business College and became a certified clerk typist in 1979. She also had many other jobs over the years. The best job she did was loving her family! Laurie had 3 children: Keane, Brandonn and Samantha. She loved them all very, very much. Her children and their families meant the world to her, and she showed it at every opportunity. She met Eric in 1997, and they lived as Husband and Wife for almost 30 years. Laurie had some struggles in life, but she overcame them and faced her challenges with strength and grace. She was preceded in death by her parents and stepmom Doris, her brothers Franklin She is also survived by brother Stephen (Katie), sister in law Xiena, sister Carolin Geiger, step-siblings Jonathan Kim and Wendy Kim; her Aunt Sylvia Feyen (Harry); close family friend Carl Richmond and her 3 cats Asa, Eli, and PJ. Laurie probably never met a cat she didn’t love. She adopted as many as Eric would allow and showed care and kindness to every wild or stray cat, fortunate enough to cross her path. Laurie attended Rivercrest Community Church where she had some good friends and Laurie was the best mother-in-law. If you loved her family, she loved you too. She worked very hard to get her family whatever they wanted for Christmas and birthdays. She wrote the most wonderful, detailed cards and letters to the people she loved. She had an amazing memory of different things and loved sharing pictures and family stories. Laurie is unforgettable. She loved to talk to all her loved ones here. And now she is spending her time talking to her Savior in person. And she is happy and without pain or heartache. If she could talk to anyone here on earth right now, we have no doubt she would tell us all to love God and love others every single day until we meet again. Laurie will be buried in Lincoln Memorial Park followed by a memorial service at Rivercrest Community Church in late February.
