Lane was born on April 15^th 1923 to Kong Kongmany and Teung in Paklay, Laos. She was the eldest of ten siblings. In 1951, she married

her late Husband Dy Darapheth and had five children together, two girls and three boys. In 1987, Lane, her husband and youngest son

migrated to the US as refugees and landed in Ohio. Shortly after Ohio, the three moved to San Diego and re-united with her oldest

daughter, another son and their family. They eventually ended up in Oregon where they lived out the rest of their lives with Nary (her oldest

daughter) and her family.

Lane enjoyed large family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a busy body and would likely be found in the

kitchen or garden. She was 94 when she passed away on Tuesday, November 7th, 2017

She is survived by her two daughters, three sons and and their children. She will be missed dearly.”
