Katherine “Kathie” Lee  (Snow) Groenlund

October 15, 1944 – February 28, 2022

Katherine “Kathie” Lee Snow was born October 15, 1944, to Jack and Kay Snow. She passed away February 28, 2022, of medical causes.

Kathie attended Kearns and Buckman grade schools in Portland, graduating from Washington High School in Portland. She had a vibrant personality and loved to dance, go on beach trips, going fishing, boating and swimming. She also liked to play games and was very astute and artistic. Kathie was a beautiful lady who was always well dressed. Her expert makeup skills propelled her to a career selling Avon as well as Mary Kay products.

In 1962 she married Steve Wilson and had one child, Deborah Jean Wilson. Steve and Kathie later divorced and in 1973 Kathie married the love of her life, Jon Groenlund. Together they had two children, Jonathan Timothy Groenlund in 1975 and Heather Kay Groenlund born in 1977.

Kathie is predeceased by her parents Jack and Kay, daughter Debbie and nephews Andy and Keith. She survived by her loving husband Jon, children Tim and Heather, her brother Ken, her three grandchildren and one great grandchild. She also has six nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank all of those in healthcare who cared for her. Kathie was loved and will be missed. But we look forward to the day to see her again, when we meet up in heaven!
