Juanita Jean Walker

July 22, 1952 – August 12, 2025

Juanita Jean Walker, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, at the age of 73.

Born on July 22, 1952, in Portland, Oregon, Juanita loved to bowl and camp out by Brighten Bush. She loved people and loved to shoot the breeze with family and friends. She was a devoted and faithful wife to Ernest Walker Sr., to whom she was married on May 24, 1980, in Portland, Oregon. Together, they built a life grounded in love, faith, and family.

Juanita was known for her warmth, strength, and compassion, dedicating her life to her home and her family. Her nurturing spirit touched the lives of many.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest Walker Sr.; her children: sons Peter, Jeff, and Ernie Jr., and daughters Jissell and Kloi; her sister, Francis E. Lee; and her brother, John Collison. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Eugene Collison; her mother, Darline Ann Connett; and her brothers, Fred Collison and Rodney Collison.

A viewing for family and friends will take place August 31, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM at Omega Funeral Home, 223 SE 122nd Ave, Portland, OR 97233.

A celebration of life will be held September 27, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM at LifeCity Church, 50 NE 143rd Avenue, Portland, OR 97230.

Juanita’s legacy of love, grace, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
