Joyce Agnes (Jensen) Rose

July 13, 1952 – May 12, 2022

Joyce Agnes (Jensen) Rose, July 13, 1952 – May 12, 2022.  Joyce was born in Portland, Oregon on July 13, 1952 to James and Catherine Jensen. 

She held a variety of jobs throughout her life which enabled her to have many interests.

Joyce loved to travel, especially to Alaska where she lived for awhile. 

She was very crafty, making bird houses and jewelry which she shared with family and friends.  She also enjoyed, fishing and had a special interest in the natural beauty of rocks.

Joyce was a very loving and caring person. She was always thinking of and helping family and friends wherever she was able to.  She donated to various causes to include aminals, birds and wildlife.

Although Joyce never had children of her own, for many years she was entrusted with the care of raising a friend’s granddaughter as though she were her own. 

She is survived by her two sisters, Judy and Cathy, and her sister-in-law, Terri , three nieces (Jennifer, Laurie and Joy), one grand-niece and three grand-nephews.  In addition, her beloved companion dog, Lola.

Her memory will live in the hearts of family and friends, while she is walking the beaches in search of more beautiful rocks.
