Joyce Anita Ancheta

Joyce Anita Ancheta passed away on October 25th 2021 at the age of 77.

Joyce was born on February 6th 1944 to Victor and Ethel Kari in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from Grant High School where she excelled in choir and drama. It was at Grant that she met and later married the love of her life, Phil Ancheta. The two were married for 58 years. Joyce was employed by US Bank for over 30 years until she retired in 2007. Joyce loved to travel. Her and Phil were always looking to get away. Palm Springs, San Diego and Seaside Oregon and of course Disneyland was always a family favorite. Joyce’s true joy in her life was her family, raising three kids, Brian, Steve and Amy- never missing a game, concert or recital. Joyce will always be remembered for her lovely smile, laughter and beautiful singing voice.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Phil, sister Cynthia, Son Brian and wife Tami, Son Steve and wife Martha, Daughter Amy and husband Dave and Grand kids Tyler, Brady, Austin, Chase and Haley.
