Joseph Richard

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joseph Richard, 89, of Portland, Oregon, on December 10, 2025. Born on March 22, 1936, in Palacios, Texas, Joseph lived a long and fulfilling life surrounded by family, music, and community.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Karen, with whom he shared many cherished years. Joseph is survived by his two daughters, Tina and Bonnie, as well as four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy. He will be lovingly remembered for his passion for music, especially his gift of playing the guitar, which touched the lives of many.

A service honoring Joseph’s life will be held at Willamette National Cemetery on December 22, 2026, at 11:30 AM. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of his legacy.
