JOHN HENRY JONES, II

John was born in Nuremberg Germany on December 24, 1965, his sudden, very unexpected passing was September 16, 2020 in Canby, Oregon.

John was five years old when his parents John and Elisabeth moved to Oregon from Germany, where his father had been stationed in the Army.  John grew up and lived in Oregon most of his life with a couple of years in Montana, which he loved. John attended David Douglas High School, he joined the National Guard and served nine years. He married Tamara Wilson in 1987, (they later divorced), they had two amazing children together. John leaves behind his daughter Ashley Marie Jones, his grandchildren Jaxson and Amari.  His son John Henry Jones III, daughter in law Stephanie his grandchildren, Peighton, Leland “Hank”, Nicholas, Nathaniel, Keagan & McKenna. 

John later married Wanda McLane and they were together for seventeen years, they divorced and remained friends.

John loved to sing, he often sang karaoke, he was never afraid to get up in front of a group of people and share his amazing voice.  He was also a jokester and was always making people laugh, until they cried. John was always willing to lend a helping hand, he loved to ride his Harley, loved the beach and he was a true patriot who served the country he loved. John had many, many friends who loved him and will greatly miss him. Over his lifetime he tried his hand at a variety of jobs learning various skills that he would use throughout his life.

John’s father John H. Jones passed away in 1992.  He is survived by his children and grandchildren his mother Elisabeth Jones, 86, his sister Elizabeth, her husband Edward, nephews Nate, Jordi and grandniece Mayzie.  Also, his sister Linda, her husband DeWayne and Nephews/Nieces Branden, Brett & Taleisha, Cory & Alicia, Tifany & Diven. Grandnephews Hero, Darius, Atlas & Maui Jones. He was a very loving father, uncle, Opa and friend.
