March 10, 1931 - April 9, 2023 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends On August 26, 1925, Emilios Rosini and Eva Woolhiser were married in Vancouver Washington. On March 10, 1931, Jeannette Irene was born. She was their one and only child. Eva passed away in1937, when Jeannette was only 6 years old. Her father decided that she needed a mother figure so she was sent to live with her Aunt Boots (Bertha Miller), her mother’s sister and her family. This didn’t last long as Jeannette was not happy living with them as their son used to kick her under the table as mom would tell me. She went back to live with her father who lived with his parents in Linnton. Jeannette loved her grandfather and grandmother very much and they loved her. Mom always told me how she would look forward to when her grandfather would get grapes delivered to make wine in the basement, She loved helping him put the grapes in the masher. Her grandmother had a wonderful garden and had goats and rabbits. Jeannette met Walter Cole in Linnton as they went to Linnton Elementary school together. They started dating in high school but went to different schools. Mom went to Roosevelt High and he went to Lincoln High. When they were both 20 years old they got married. On June 20, 1955, Walter Willard Cole II was born. They were still living in Linnton at that time. On March 30, 1957, Maridee Lynn Cole was born. The year before they had a new house built in SE Portland and mom lived there until 2 years ago when she had to go to Care Home. Maridee was married in 1982, and had Jeannette’s first grandchild, a girl Sara Jean in 1986. In 1989 Amanda Jo was born and she would be her 2nd and last grandchild. In 2017, Sara Jean Diamond had Jeannette first great grandchild, Lainey Rose. In 2020, Lawrence Cole Diamond was born. She loved her grand-daughters with all her heart and helped raise them and is very much responsible for them turning out to be the lovely successful women they are today. Although, for the past 12 years or so she has had dementia, she was still the beautiful, loving and kind soul she had always been. We love you Mom, Grandma (momo), Great Grandma and miss you so very much. Rest easy with your mother Eva, father Emilios and step mother Josephine Rosini. Jeannette I. Cole
