October 14, 1941 - October 29, 2016 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Janice Marian Stemburgh was born on October 14th, 1941 in Lansing, Michigan. She moved to Oregon with her parents Thomas and Sarah Stemburgh. She graduated from Madison High School in 1959 and married Rodney Carlson in the same year. They had 3 children, Lori, Traci and Thomas. She later divorced. She worked for Pacific Northwest Bell and had a very successful career in management. She was active in her charity work with United Way through her job. She retired in 1989 and got remarried to David Voigt moving to Bonney Lake, Washington. She had a love for adventure and traveled often in her life. The coast and cruises were her favorite destinations. She loved cats and was never without their company. She enjoyed arts and crafts designing pillows, creating angel ornaments, hand crocheting dish cloths. Her latest designs were her beaded bracelets which she proudly displayed when visiting her. She was passionate about Neil Diamond and the Seahawks. Her pride and joy was her grandson Devin Carlson Janice is survived by her husband, David Voigt, her 2 children Traci Carlson and Thomas Carlson, her grandson Devin Carlson, her sisters, Sally Ross, Margaret Hatley and Jessica Amos, numerous nieces and nephews and the rest of her extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter Lori Carlson and her parents. Her celebration of life is at Omega Funeral & Cremation Services Saturday November 26th at Noon with a reception following.
