Janet, age 105, was born Dec. 27, 1906 in Portland, Oregon.

On August 25, 2012 she quietly passed

away in her home after a short illness.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Stein, 5 grandchildren, 8

great?grandchildren, and 5 great?great?grandchildren. Her son, Richard, preceded her in death.

She worked as a bookkeeper and was active in many organizations, including Order of Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile (Past Queen), DAR,

a writing class and her church women’s group. Loved and

respected by all who knew her, she was an inspiration to many.
