Koppers, Jacqueline Gail 61 July 01, 1954 May 25, 2016 Jacqueline Gail Koppers was born July 1, 1954, to Virginia and Jacob Koppers in Blue Island, Ill.

She grew up in Oak Forest, Ill., with her siblings, Kathy, Kevin, Sandy and Melanie, and so many beloved cousins, aunts and uncles.

After graduating from Tinley Park High School, she moved to Wisconsin for a few years then returned to Chicago in the late 1970s until she packed up her shiny red spit fire in 1979 and moved to Oregon to start a new life. She was married and had one daughter, Jamie.

Jackie worked for Clackamas County Fire Department for 27 years and recently retired in 2013 from the position of human resources manager. She loved to travel, host parties, cook for her family and friends who meant the world to her and most of all, she enjoyed life to the very fullest.

After an almost four-year battle with breast cancer she passed away peacefully in the home of her daughter and son-in-law. She will always be loved and remembered for her kind nature, positive energy, sense of humor, compassion and acceptance.
